ABOUT AN INDIAN SUMMER
Celebrating the shared culture between South Asia and the UK - we are bringing
communities together through bold artistic collaborations with a focus on creating work within public and outdoor spaces.
The festival reflects the multiplicity of South Asian diasporic voices, embracing cross-cultural narratives that go beyond the borders of nation, genre and discipline. The festival has become a national creative movement for artists, audiences and communities to co-create new visions of contemporary diasporic culture.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world where inclusion, diversity and equity thrive - where care, creative freedom, ambition and opportunity are accessible to all. We do this vital work through nurturing and platforming the evolution of contemporary South Asian arts, ensuring that South Asian artistry and heritage are an integral and valued part of UK culture and the creative economy.
