Sunday 16th August | 7.30pm: Bend it Like Beckham

A cult classic from the 90s, written by Gurinder Chanda, starring Keira Knightley and Parminder Nagra. A talented teenager bends the rules, to reach her goal, in professional soccer. But her traditional parents refuse to even consider it and want her to hang up her football boots, find a nice boy and learn to cook. 

Sunday 23rd August | 7.30pm: Slumdog Millionaire Winning the Academy Award for Best Picture, Danny Boyle’s blockbuster smash hit explores the story of a teenager from the slums of Mumbai, who becomes a contestant on the show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati?' When interrogated under suspicion of cheating, he revisits his past, revealing how he had all the answers.
