An Indian Summer took over Leicester's Cultural Quarter from 9th - 11th August

This year, the festival expanded to 7 venues, including Curve Theatre, Phoenix, LCB Depot, Chutney Ivy, Sixes, The Real Ale Classroom and Brick & Beam.

Our programme included live performances, workshops, immersive experiences and exhibitions, bringing you an electric fusion of contemporary South Asian arts, creativity and culture.

THANK YOU To everyone who came to join in with our festival events over the weekend, and for immersing yourselves in the festival. All who attended truly embodied our festival theme, "We Gather". We built a true sense of community, and we are overjoyed that everyone authentically connected with each other throughout the weekend.

Thank you to our incredible artists, venue partners, supporters, and most importantly our festival TEAM for coming together and helping the festival to run as smoothly as it did. Here's to next year!

An Indian Summer Highlights!

Our theme and vision this year is ‘We Gather’

An Indian Summer Festival nurtures and platforms the breadth and intersectionality of contemporary South Asian arts and creativity

Our festival programme is open to all to attend.

Within a world that is currently fragmented and divided, we invite you to be the antidote, to Gather and proactively build a sense of Community.

Immerse yourself in Collective Moments, Creation and Action.

Enter a Shared Space to be curious, question, talk, seek wonder, imagine, re-imagine, find joy, ignite hope, nurture compassion, and authentically Connect.

See no stranger

Choose to say ‘You are a part of me that I do not know yet’.

When people come together, we begin to build the solidarity needed for collective transformation, building a world rooted in justice, love and humanity
