Our festival shop has a selection of posters and artworks created by artist, Vishal Joshi from Leicester. This body of work focusses on cult classic films with Don and Yeh Dosti, portraits of Hindu Gods explored through an artistic lense & references to the subcontinent's ancient language of Sanskrit.

Vishal's work is an exploration of identity. He is interested in the factors that makes us who we are, those that we choose and those that we do not. Painting is the tool that enables him to speak his mind. Vishal aims to remain experimental with concepts, mediums and techniques but he stands true to what engages him – mark making, technical ability and a deep conceptual and philosophical vision.
