ARTIST CALL OUT FOR ANCIENT GIANTS
The UK outdoor arts scene is changing and Inspirate are paving the way for new contemporary South Asian culture, with our next UK touring production of Ancient Giants, supported by Arts Council England coming this October!
Ancient Giants is a street theatre production that has been in development for two years, bringing together a highly experienced Creative Team; Tom Cleaver (Puppet Master), Chirag Lukha (Martial Arts Specialist and Choreographer), and Parmjit Sagoo (Executive Producer).
Gods and Demons from South Asian tales are brought to life in a family friendly street theatre show, creating a visual spectacle of giant puppetry, martial arts, dance and physical storytelling. Two enormous 10ft puppets interact with audiences as they make their way to their dramatic confrontation, leading to a Transformers-style battle; an explosive fusion of martial arts and dance that will leave audiences in awe! Ancient Giants introduces South Asian stories authentically and imaginatively to the audiences it reaches.
