An Indian Summer 2019 was a massive year!
We produced the UK’s first Bollywood Outdoor Cinema tour with Sony Entertainment Television - collaborating with Boxpark Wembley in London, Hippodrome in Birmingham and our home partners in Leicester. We -decided to screening the world famous nostalgic film from the classic Bollywood era, screen Kuch Kuch Hota Hai!
Giant 14ft puppets paraded through Belgrave Road during Diwali, greeting families with Hanuman and Ravan from the Ramayana tale. Last Friday was brought to life with colourful saris, madalas, fine art an array of the UK’s finest street food.
We delivered a Laughter Therapy community engagement programme, working with PA Housing over 6-weeks for older adults to come out of social isolation. And last but not least, we worked with Hanuman Tales to commission a family theatre show that travelled to 6 cities across the UK!
