HOME CROWD ARTIST DISCUSSION
Mayur Narvekar of BANDISH PROJEKT, Santoor player Kaviraj Singh and rapper, poet and beatboxer Mr Shay discuss the release of Home Crowd with AIS producer Sam Javid - a new track and music video created especially for An Indian Summer Festival.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Eight Classical Indian Musicians from the UK have composed and recorded short ‘samples’ of their work and we’ve sent them to India, with lyrical accompaniment from musician and rapper Mr Shay, to be remixed by a multi-award winning electronic DJ and producer.
In partnership with Sitar Music Society, An Indian Summer has teamed up with the Mumbai based performer and composer, Bandish Projekt to create a new musical spectacular. Alongside the release of this new track will be a specially produced music video shot both in the UK and India
